CompUSA Introduces PC Products To Good Guys Stores

Before Comcast courted Disney and after Time-Warner merged with AOL, CompUSA set out to acquire Good Guys in a deal valued at an estimated $55.6 million. The Dallas-based computer retailer predicted what would become an even more enmeshed relationship between the CE and PC worlds. The goal? To expand the merchandising mix of both chains to include home entertainment technology at CompUSA and more PC-related products at Good Guys for networking's sake.
