It appears to be a week of firsts for Stockholm, Sweden lifestyle brand, Urbanears. Yesterday, they announced their first over-ear headphone (Pampas) and today, they have introduced their first portable speaker (Rålis). In sticking to their philosophy of creating fashionable electronics, Urbanears ensured that both Pampas and Rålis made a bold statement in their own unique way.
Pampas headphones are available in almond beige, charcoal black, and field green, and boast 30+ hours of Bluetooth playtime. A tailored, cushioned headband allows for extended listening sessions, and when that's done, the headphones collapse for easy storage and transportation. Pampas also feature an extra socket that lets users share their tunes with a friend. During playtime, optimized acoustics recreate a sonic landscape for a completely immersive sound experience. Everything from adjusting volume, skipping tracks, and picking up calls can be done via the control knob located on the side.
For listening out loud, the portable Rålis speaker by Urbanears uses the Blumlein technique to recreate a rich and spatial sound experience. The waterproof, cord-free speaker comes in three standout colors: mist grey, haute red, and slate blue, and also features a carrying strap for on the go. Users have the option of controlling their tunes from a Bluetooth connected device or directly from the speaker itself. To avoid a dying battery, listeners can plug their device into Rålis’ built-in power bank while they play. A single charge of the speaker provides up to 20+ hours of wireless listening with the ability to connect up to three hosts for shared control.
