Verizon iPhone Gets Positive Reviews; Presale Sold Out
The first reviews of the new iPhone 4 for Verizon were somewhat predictable: the consensus is that the device drops fewer calls than the AT&T version, but is slightly less speedy.
David Pogue of the New York Times praised the Verizon iPhone for not dropping calls - in the several different cities he took it to- calling it the "holy grail." He stated that the phones, other than that, or more or less identical.
The Wall Street Journal's Walter Mossberg agreed that the Verizon iPhone drops fewer calls than its AT&T counterpart, although he added that data speed is not as fast, as well as the inability to use the CDMA phone overseas or use data while making a call.
