The iPhone's debut on Verizon Wireless made it the top smartphone in the U.S. in February, while Google's Android charged past RIM's BlackBerry to take the top spot in market share.
That's according to the numbers released Friday by Comscore.
Android now holds a full 33 percent of the market among domestic subscribers, up from 26 percent and second place in November. BlackBerry is in second place with 28.9 percent (down from 33.5) while Apple is third with a slightly higher 25.2. Microsoft and Palm remain in single digits.
