Ron Spencer was hired as Victrola’s new COO. In the role, Spencer will be responsible for building infrastructure and running operations to support Victrola’s global growth and expansion. “He will play a vital role in our 2018 global expansion, bringing the beloved Victrola brand and products to 18 new countries,” Lieblein said. Spencer joins Victrola after previously serving as COO at BestSelf Co.
Dominique Lingruen has been hired as Director of Specialty Markets. In her role, Dominique will be responsible for expanding the Victrola brand into new markets such as hospitality, furniture, clothing, and craft stores. “We are pleased to welcome Dominique to our growing Victrola team,” said Corey Lieblein, founder and CEO of Victrola. “Our turntables appeal to a wide variety of consumers and we are excited to introduce our high-quality, high-design line to new markets and segments.” Lingruen joins Victrola after previously serving as the National Sales Manager for Audio-Technica.
Philippé Renan has been added as Director of EMEA Sales for Victrola. Renan will be responsible for bringing the historic Victrola brand to Europe, the Middle East and Africa and designing a network of partners such as distributors, retailers, re-sellers and e-tailers. “2018 is an exciting year for our brand’s global expansion with big plans to bring our high-quality, high-design turntable products to customers throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” Leiblein said.
Lastly, Jose Waijman has been hired as the Director of LATAM Sales. He will be responsible for developing distribution, establishing retail sales channels, and enacting support structure for sales and marketing in Latin America, from Mexico to Argentina. Just like with their EMEA expansion, Leiblein said that Victrola has “big plans to bring our high-quality, high-design turntable products to customers throughout Latin America.”
