Video & Audio Center Plans Fifth Store
Southern California-based Video & Audio Center has announced plans to open a fifth store that Tom Campbell, corporate director, said would be built “from the ground up” at a yet-to-be-determined location within California’s Orange County.
The regional dealer opened a superstore in the Village at Westfield Topanga in the fall that offers consumers experiential, immersive retailing – and Campbell said that for the new store, which is slated to open by November 2016, “we will take what we’ve learned from Topanga to use there.”
The planned opening is part of a measured, overall “controlled growth” strategy, said Campbell. “It needs to be built from the ground up, for today and for the future,” he stated. “We want to keep to our plan of being a digital destination as America’s premiere digital technology superstore.”
