Walmart Global Ecommerce Chief to Retire
Walmart said Tuesday that Eduardo Castro-Wright, Vice Chairman and CEO of the company's Global eCommerce and Global Sourcing businesses, will retire next summer.
The company plans to name replacements for Castro-Wright by January, at which time the departing executive will assist in the transition before stepping down in July.
"Eduardo has made many contributions at Walmart, beginning in Mexico and continuing until today," Walmart CEO Mike Duke said in a statement. "He has been a strong advocate for our customers and in every assignment has brought passion and commitment to the job. He has also built talented teams wherever he has led."
