Walmart Goes Back to Low Prices
Walmart Monday launched a new multiplatform advertising and in-store campaign called "Low Prices. Every Day. On Everything." The campaign is seen by Walmart as the company "reinvigorating its price leadership promise."
The company also said that electronics is among the categories that will expand later this year.
Parts of Walmart's strategy include more partnerships with suppliers, more checks of competitors' prices and a stronger ad-match policy. The campaign represents a return to the company's traditional low-price ethos.
