Walmart on Wednesday announced the availability of two new low-cost, no-contract mobile phone plans, called Straight Talk, nationwide. The plan was developed along with TracFone, and phones are available on Samsung and LG.
The plans, which cost $30 and $45, are an attempt by the retail giant to compete with Boost Mobile, Metro PCS and other low-cost wireless providers. The plans had been offered on a trial basis in 234 stores.
