N.E.W. Program Speeds Product Replacement Turnaround
Extended warranty supplier N.E.W. Customer Service Companies has introduced a Rapid Replacement product warranty plan that will reduce the turnaround time it takes to receive a new product in exchange for a broken one from what can sometimes be weeks to 24 hours, for consumers invested in the plan.
N.E.W. has also expanded its Knowledge Management System, according to Rob DiRocco, vice president of sales and marketing – an initiative that broadens the overall troubleshooting aspect of the company’s customer care program.
“Our ecoNEW program has really taken off this year,” said DiRocco, in describing during the recent CES the company’s year-old electronics trade-in and recycling program that awards money to consumers as incentive to turn in their old electronics. The program, first launched early last year, is being extended as an e-waste solution to manufacturers as well as retailers.
