Watch it Now! LG Releases its Full Super Bowl 50 Commercial
Added Neeson: “My character is an enigmatic man from the future who has traveled back to the present day on a very important mission. He represents that inner appeal, that curiosity we have to find out about the future.”
In conjunction with the release of their first-ever Super Bowl commercial, LG said it is giving consumers a chance to win an OLED TV through a sweepstakes being run on Twitter. From now until game day (Feb 6 at 11:59 p.m. ET), LG will post a series of “mysterious questions from the future” about the commercial. Followers of the #ManFromTheFuture campaign on Twitter will get details about the sweepstakes. For more information about the campaign and how to participate, visit @LGUS on Twitter or the official website for the Man From the Future campaign.
Back in August, it was projected (and later confirmed by CBS—the network broadcasting the Big Game) that ad rates for Super Bowl 50 would hit, and possibly exceed, around $5 million for a 30-second spot. Multiply that by two for LG’s minute-long commercial.
