For all of the positive steps forward Apple has made with the soon-to-launch iPhone X, there is one glaring, obvious, almost painful complaint that many consumers—and even some early reviewers—have about the device: the notch.
Located at the top of the screen, the notch (that black area that is carved out of the otherwise full screen display) is where Apple positioned all of the technology for the FaceID interface. That said, how annoying is it actually? And does it ruing the otherwise awesome iPhone X experience? Those are answers that we’ll find out as we get hands on with an iPhone X later this week.
