A TV For Every Budget
The folks at Westinghouse Digital believe that no matter how tight things get, most consumers will still buy a flat-panel TV when they need a new set.
With that in mind, the company has begun shipping its latest line of newly designed LCD units. Ranging from16 to 52 inches, the sets are affordably priced and include many of the latest features found in higher-priced units.
Westinghouse led its open house in New York City yesterday with the new PT series of 16-inch (MSRP $329) and 19-inch (MSRP $399) HDTVs, mainly targeting secondary locations such as kitchens, garages or RVs. The PT-16H610S line includes a dual-hinged stand and 180-degree image rotation so the unit can stand on a countertop or be mounted under a hanging cabinet. The unit also features a 1080p HDMI input for a PC or gaming console. The 16-inch set has a stainless steel bezel, while the 19-inch comes in stainless and black.
