Wharfedale's Jade Series Now Shipping to U.S.

Wharfedale's Jade Series subwoofers are now shipping in the U.S., exclusive distributor Sound Solutions, LLC announced Wednesday.

"The Jade 10 features dual 10-inch woofers and a built-in 500-watt amplifier, and the Jade 8 has dual 8-inch woofers and a built-in 350-watt amplifier. The subwoofers employ a dual-woofer arrangement in which the high-excursion, long-throw woofers are mounted opposite each other and mechanically reinforce each other’s motion, yielding powerful, articulate low-frequency response to 30Hz with greater output and efficiency," Walter Schofield of Sound Solutions said as part of the announcement.

Like every Wharfedale loudspeaker, Jade Series subwoofers are designed and built completely in-house, from their drivers and internal amplifiers to their beautifully finished enclosures, available in Rosewood Cherry, Vintage Cherry and Black Oak veneer to complement Wharfedale’s Jade Series loudspeakers and any home décor."
