Wii Gets Price Drop
Ahead of the release of the Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo Monday announced a price cut for the Wii console. The price of the original Wii is now $129.99, in a bundle that also includes the "Wii Sports' and "Wii Sports Resort" games.
“Nearly six years after it launched, people are still attracted to the pure, inclusive fun of the Wii console,” Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing, said in a statement. “A new suggested retail price and the inclusion of two great games make it an easy choice for families looking for a great value this holiday season.”
