Windows XP Will Stay on Market
Microsoft said this week that it will continue selling the Microsoft XP operating system, in a version that is meant for lower-cost, lower-power PCs- but will not keep it on the market for newer, faster PCs.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Windows XP Home edition will be available either through June 2010, or a year after the next Windows edition is released, whichever is later. The move is meant for PCs that are incapable of running Windows Vista.
