Klipsch isn’t a new name when it comes to the roster of AV brands who’ve taken up the WiSA (Wireless Speaker and Audio Association) standard. But the association and audio manufacturer announced that Klipsch’s latest Reference Wireless speakers have been acknowledged as WiSA Certified.
Launching in June 2019, the Reference Wireless Klipsch loudspeakers were the recipients of a number of distinguished honors at CES 2019 in January. The certification ensures that the products will work seamlessly with and WiSA Certified and WiSA Ready products, including the new WiSA Ready LG OLED and NanoCell Super UHD TVs that began hitting stores last week.
“After a positive reception at this year’s CES, the Klipsch team is very excited to launch our new Reference Wireless line in 2019,” Vlad Grodzinskiy, product manager for Klipsch, said in a statement. “Our Reference Wireless speakers are designed for people that want the simplicity of a sound bar and high-performance multi-channel capable audio. They will be an ideal complement to the growing number of WiSA Ready platforms, which includes LG TVs, Xboxes, and computers.”
