FCC Relaunches DTV Site
With the final DTV transition just over a month away, the FCC has unveiled a new and improved Web site to make the transition easier for consumers.
The new site was unveiled this week at the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas, by FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein, CNET reported. The new site includes such features as a search tool for retailers selling converter boxes, as well as tutorials on how to install them. There is also a meter, presently at 40 percent, of how many stations nationwide have flipped the switch.
