Women, Men and CE
Dealerscope is very proud to present the results of eBrain Market Research's October 2000 Women, Men & CE study. This following are excerpts from the study summary and report.
When it comes to technology, women and men are more alike in their thoughts and perceptions than most people think. Make no mistake about it, according to the eBrain study, the technology gender gap still exists.
Although the discrepancy between the number of women and men online has nearly disappeared (66 percent men, 61 percent women), those in the consumer electronics industry must not be fooled into thinking men and women are homogeneous in all of their technology attitudes. While they may be coming closer together, there are still many areas where there are substantial differences.
