WowWee Intros BriteBrush Smart Toothbrush for Kids
WowWee adds to its child-interactive product lines as it enters a new category – dental care – with the introduction of BriteBrush, a smart toothbrush that makes twice-a-day brushing fun for children.
Addressing an ongoing pain point for parents – namely, instilling good oral care habits in children at a young age, WowWee has devised a fun brush – the result of a team-up with the product designers behind the ToothTunes musical toothbrush.
The BriteBrush toothbrush uses songs, games and live coaching to encourage proper brushing in accordance with the Modified Bass Technique, a method widely endorsed by dentists. With BriteBrush, kids won’t get lost in complicated add-ons, says WowWee, but will reap all the necessary benefits that come to life with this toothbrush’s audio, games, and rewards, exciting kids to brush their teeth and educating them on proper brushing.
The brush uses proprietary, smart sensor technology and a vibrating handle that encourages total mouth coverage and side-change recognition, and is even equipped with a Parent Check Light to provide peace of mind that children are brushing correctly.
BriteBrush is available now at Target and will be available soon at Walmart and Amazon, says the company, with two models tailored towards children at every phase of their brushing journey. BriteBrush GameBrush (for ages 5 and up) is packed with seven games, including a practice mode, space attack, soccer pinball, dance star, punch master, race car rally, and rockstar jam. BriteBrush Pinkfong Baby Shark (for ages 3 and up, with parental assistance) transports children to the ocean with bubble-popping adventures, treasure hunts, and their favorite Baby Shark song. Each model is available at an MSRP between $19.99 and $24.99, and comes with two soft brush heads that are gentle on teeth and gums.
BriteBrush will be on view at the WowWee booth at the Toy Fair in New York City this month.
