XM Satellite Radio Programming Preview
Bruce Kelly: Program director for contemporary music. Kelly was voted Billboard Magazine's Air Personality of the Year three times and has hosted morning shows in some of America's top markets, including, most recently, Washington D.C.'s WJMO Jammin' Oldies and KKFR & KZZP, both in Phoenix. Kelly is also an announcer for the Washington Redskins.
Mark Parenteau will head up XM's comedy programming. He comes to XM from New York City's WAXQ-FM "Q104" classic rock, where he was the afternoon drive talent for two years. A well-known Boston personality and comedy club owner, Parenteau was the voice of afternoon drive for WBCN-FM/Boston, "The Rock of Boston," for nearly 20 years.
"Bubba" Jackson: Program Director for the blues channel. He was also the president and founder of Radio+Music Productions. Most recently, he was the producer for the Los Angeles BLUES4U Festival. His on-air career includes work on KLON & KPCC/Los Angeles, CA.
