At last putting an end to a regularly process that lasted well over a year, the Federal Communications Commission on Friday gave final approval to the merger between satellite radio companies XM and Sirius, the Associated Press reported.
The approval, which came by a 3-2 party-line vote, took place after the companies agreed to settle past fines of more than $20 million.
Did you think the merger would be approved? Talk about it in the Dealerscope forums.
