XM/Sirius Merger Now on “Circulation” List
The merger between XM and Sirius Satellite Radio took one more tiny step towards a full FCC vote on Friday, when the matter was added to the commission’s circulation list.
As pointed out by the Web site Electronista.com, the issue of “XM Satellite Radio Holdings, Inc. to Sirius Satellite Radio, Inc.” was added to the FCC’s “Items on Circulation” list on June 17. FCC Chairman Kevin Martin has already, with conditions, endorsed the merger, while the full commission is expected to vote on it by the end of the month.
