Yale Locks Now Compatible with Comcast Xfinity Home
Cable and home connectivity provider Comcast announced that they’ve added Xfinity Home service compatibility for Yale Locks & Hardware’s Assure Lock line. The locks will work with Comcast’s home security and automation solution when purchased with a Yale Zigbee Network Module.
“We’re delighted to partner with Xfinity Home and have our Assure Lock line play a critical role securing front doors across the country,” Jason Williams, President, ASSA ABLOY U.S. Residential Group, which includes Yale Residential, said in a statement. “Xfinity Home customers can now connect an Assure Lock that’s right for them and control access and secure their homes from the Xfinity Home mobile app.”
The Yale Assure Lock line comes in a variety of styles meant to best serve different customers’ needs for securing their front door. The range includes key-free or keypad locks in both touchscreen and pushbutton models. And all locks are available three different finishes. Up to four Assure Locks with a Zigbee Network Module—which is available separately or with the lock—can be added to the Xfinity Mobile Home app. And for customers who already own an Assure Lock, they can purchase one of the Yale Zigbee Network Modules and add the device to their Xfinity platform.
