Motorola's Karma QA1 Phone targets social networkers by making it easy to access Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and other services directly from large icons on the home screen. At five ounces, the Karma QA1 packs a huge punch with its 2.5 x 3.5 inches frame. The five ounce, 2.5 x 3.5-inch handset includes a full QWERTY keyboard which slides from behind the display.

PhoneSuit Launches Mini-Projector for iPhone, iPod Touch

PhoneSuit has announced the PhoneSuit MiLi Pro, a portable video projector to be used with the iPhone and iPod Touch. The 10 lumen device displays video and images at 640x480 resolution. The display size ranges from five to 70 inches (with a recommended 40 inch limit) and comes with a focus wheel to adjust the LCOS, LED-produced picture.

ZigBee to Set Battery-Free Green Standard

The ZigBee Alliance is developing a ZigBee Green Power standard for wireless technology products that uses environmental energy-harvesting methods, instead of batteries, for power. Energy-harvesting involves converting  environmental sources, such as light, vibration and ambient radio waves into electricity, though ZigBee's announcement did not specify which, if any, of these techniques would be employed.
