Atlantic Technology announced Tuesday that it has named Lawrence Davis as its new vice president of sales. An industry veteran of more than 28 years, Davis comes to the company after previous stints at Monster Cable, Artison, Bang & Olufsen and Sound Advice. Davis will report to president and CEO Peter Tribeman. Atlantic Technology has announced the introduction of a new in-wall loudspeaker called the IWTS-4LCR, meant as a low-cost alternative to similar in-wall products previously released by the company. The home theater speaker company Atlantic technology this week announced the release of a new version of its System 6200 line, updated to 6200e. The new speakers both lower the price of the originals and come with improved cabinets and THX-Ultra 2 certification. “The system is a classic Atlantic technology evolution: better looks, better performance, at a lower price,” Atlantic marketing executive Steve Feinstein said in a statement. The THX-level subwoofers replace the 6200 edition’s pedestal subwoofer system. The 6200e system is available in several configurations, with a suggested retail price starting at $6,500. Atlantic Technologies announced Monday the relaunch of their Web site, which retains the address www.atlantictechnology.com The redesigned site contains categorized viewing of the company’s product line by product category, room size or model number. Information has been consolidated to fewer pages to avoid the need to jump from one page to another for related information. The site also features training videos, a dealer locator, technical assistance and audio voice-over options for sections such as the FAQ or corporate profile. A new “Dealer Only” section allows Atlantic dealers to get targeted information from the company.
