We had seen the rumors, however as of today we have the official details on the “No Contract Wireless” service that is going to be offered by Radio Shack. The service will launch September 5 and will be powered by Cricket Wireless
Mobile phone customers can choose from even more contract-free plans from RadioShack as of today.
Four new plans are available altogether through Cricket Wireless -- two for feature phones and two for smartphones.
The $25-per-month feature phone plan offers 300 voice minutes, while the $35 plan raises that to 1,000 minutes. Both plans up the ante with unlimited data access, unlimited texting, call waiting, and three-way calling.
The $50-per-month smartphone plan adds unlimited voice minutes and promises that the first gigabyte of data will run at full 3G speeds.
We are still expecting Radio Shack to launch their No Contract Wireless service as of September 5th and while we had some guesses about the plans. Well guesses based on the fact that the Radio Shack service is powered by Cricket Wireless — it looks like those plans have leaked.
We heard some chatter about an upcoming no contract wireless offering from Radio Shack earlier in the month. At the time it was looking like Radio Shack would be offering service as an MVNO of Cricket Wireless.

The date is still firmly in the rumor category, however it doesn't appear to be all that far away - September 5th. Otherwise, the service appears as if will be branded as Radio Shack No Contract Wireless.
While the only available details are coming by way of leaked screen captures, it is beginning to look as if Radio Shack has something in the works with Cricket Wireless. More specifically, it looks like Radio Shack will be launching their own branded wireless service, appropriately named Radio Shack Mobile.

According to a tip we've received, the Shack is gearing up to launch RadioShack Mobile, a no-contract MVNO based on Cricket Wireless. A pair of leaked screenshots (above and after the break) seem to show a RadioShack Mobile-ready listing and a snippet of an accompanying product page that promises low monthly rates without the shackles of a 2-year agreement. The Cricket connection? That can be found under the page's "getting started" section
