The bridge to digital, in the form of cutting-edge products, is here, and if dealers are not on board, they are leaving money on the table.

It was rumored, and now it's here: on stage at D, Sundar Pichai just revealed a new version of the HTC One that runs an untouched, stock version of Google's Android operating system. It will be available from the Google Play store starting June 26th for $599. The unlocked device will run on both AT&T and T-Mobile in the United States with support for high-speed LTE data on both networks. Good Move: HTC Reportedly Scraps Windows RT Tablet Plans
May 30, 2013

Earlier in May, HTC was rumored to be entering the Microsoft Windows RT tablet market and now, just a few weeks later, those plans are over. Citing people familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reported HTC's change in course on Thursday due to weak demand for Windows RT. Instead, the company is expected to move forward on a 7-inch Android tablet.

'Around 5 Million' HTC One Phones Sold Since Launch

HTC has sold "around five million" of its flagship smartphone, the One, since launch. The company's largest rival in the Android smartphone space recently announced that it's shipped 10 million Galaxy S4s in less than a month.

May 2, 2013

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp will struggle to improve its margins this year as it increases marketing spend for its latest model in a bid to catch up to rivals Samsung Electronics Co Ltd and Apple Inc.

HTC on Thursday forecast strong sales of its flagship HTC One smartphone to lift second-quarter revenues by almost two-thirds to T$70 billion ($2.37 billion).

Operating margins were also expected to widen to between 1 and 3 percent from the previous quarter's 0.1 percent, as HTC spends more on a campaign to improve its brand image.

Why Apple's No Longer Alone in Designing Beautiful Smartphones
April 23, 2013

Whether you prefer the iPhone, Android, Windows Phone or BlackBerry, it's hard to deny that Apple's phones are the best-looking of the bunch.

For years, it seemed like other phone makers weren't even trying to compete on design. While competitors kept up with the iPhone in thinness and lightness, they relied almost exclusively on plastic, making their phones feel creaky and cheap.

Lately, phone makers besides Apple have been coming around to the idea of premium designs. The HTC One is a gorgeous phone encased in a single slab
