Ramsey, NJ-based CE distributor M. Rothman & Co. held its 10th annual dealer show at it’s headquarters September 23 and 24, this time dubbing it Rothfest and offering attendees free concerts. About 1,500 people were expected at the two-day event. The idea behind Rothfest, said associate vice president Stephen Bodnarchuk, was two-fold: to show appreciation to the dealers as well as increase awareness of 4th-quarter promotions. “It’s a selling show,” he said. The selling part involved the manufacture showroom, which was lined with vendors such as Pioneer, LG, Universal Remote Control, Audiovox, Toshiba, Omnimount, JVC and others. Distributor M. Rothman and Co. is planning a musical treat for attendees at its annual dealer show next month in New Jersey: a two-day concert featuring the bands The Subdudes and Little Feat. The show, to be held Sept. 23 and 24 at the company’s Ramsey, N.J., headquarterss, will feature the LG line now carried by Rothman, as well as numerous other products from nearly two dozen major brands, including Pioneer, Sharp, Toshiba. LG Electronics announced Thursday that they had appointed M. Rothman & Co. Inc. to distribute its CE line in the New Jersey and New York metro area. LG products will be featured with M. Rothman’s current product line-up at Rothfest ‘08, M. Rothman’s annual dealer show, which will run September 23 to 24 at their Ramsey, N.J. headquarters. Said M.
