The Caloric brand name will be reintroduced on kitchen appliances in late 2012 after being off the market since the 1990s.
JMM Lee Properties, LLC is the owner and licensor of the Caloric brand as part of a diverse portfolio of consumer trademarks. IMM noted that the Caloric appliance brand was known as one of the first brands to offer a complete line of matching appliances for upscale kitchens.
"Consumers remember Caloric for quality gas ranges and complete kitchen appliance sets," said Michael Lee, a managing partner at JMM Lee Properties.
