What if they gave a format war and nobody cared? While passions ran high at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas over which HDTV broadcast format was better--720 progressive, the pick of ABC and Fox, or 1080 interlaced, the choice of NBC and CBS--one bottom line was ignored: most consumers will never notice the difference, or frankly, care.
