B2B e-commerce can turn inventory into gold. By Tatyana Sinioukov "In retail, there's a saying, 'A fast nickel is better than a slow dime,' " said Patrick Byrne, CEO and president, Overstock.com. "The worst thing (for) a retailer is to have inventory just sit there, dead." Byrne's is one of the several dot-com liquidators that have popped up in the recent several years.
