Coming into this year’s International CES, it would have been hard to imagine a broader selection of audio products in every form, to fit every taste, than was displayed in the Venetian’s demo suites and on the floor of the newly labeled Tech East (Central and South Halls). Multi-room systems of every stripe, both small-footprint speakers and those that would need the help of wall stretchers to fit into the average home, high-end components, and all manner of headphones with clever, differentiating twists – these were everywhere in Las Vegas last month.
New Jersey retailer Electronics Expo, having regained its financial footing, will open an additional high-end-brand-populated store next month in the same Union, N.J. 10,800-square-foot facility that had originally housed the chain’s second store, Leon Temiz, its CEO, told Dealerscope Thursday. The store currently operates out of a single, 19,000-square-foot facility in Wayne, N.J; the new store will hold a soft opening Nov. 6 for the vendor community and then officially open on Nov. 10.

Polk is rolling out a tour bus packed with new product demos and a recording studio to key retailers, as well as sporting events and concerts, across the country.
Polk Audio this week announced the debut of its new Nue Era headphones, in-ear headphones which are "designed for fashionistas and audiophiles alike," the company said.
