Sonos Announces its Next Generation of Smart Speakers

Sonos has officially unveiled its next generation of smart speakers, which will be available later this month. The Era 300 features Dolby Atmos and boasts six drivers that direct sound left, right, forward and upward. The speaker comes in an elegant hourglass design and is Sonos’ first product that delivers multi-channel surround sound when used as home theater rears. The Era 100, a remastering of the Sonos One, is slightly larger than its predecessor and features new hardware and software. The speaker features two angled tweeters that send high frequencies left and right for a stereo experience. It also has a larger midwoofer to help create excellent bass.

In other news, smart home gym brand Halytus has announced that it is taking its business to the next level. After running a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised $300,000, the company is launching a new campaign on Indiegogo. The company’s HooKee, a lightweight exercise machine, aims to replace various kinds of gym equipment, such as fly machines and squat racks. The machine utilizes water pressure to provide up to 100 pounds of resistance. It features a one-button control and step-by-step guidance, making it great for beginners to pros.

Lastly, Speed Queen has updated its DF7 dryer and front load washer to include new pet-dedicated cycles. The new washer will feature a flea cycle, which is proven to kill cat fleas at every stage of the lifecycle. It also features stain boost, extra rinses and tub clean cycles. The DF7 dryer will now have special cycles for pet hair removal and for different pet items. Speed Queen first introduced cycles dedicated to pets in 2021.
