Best Buy Tops Dealerscope's 2015 Top 101 CE Retailers

The merchants listed in Dealerscope’s registry of the Top 101 CE retailers in the United States and Canada sold $227.7 billion in consumer electronics in 2014, a modest 3.35 percent increase over the $220.32 billion earned the previous year. Relatively static sales, however, are not indicative of a static marketplace.

Over the past few months, Apple Pay has become the most popular payment method in the Staples app on iOS. The company now says 30% of its sales through the app come from Apple Pay. While Apple Pay is often used for contactless payments in the real world, it can also store debit and credit card information for digital transactions.
