RadioShack this week announced the arrival of a new smobile device repair service called Fix It Here. The Service starts at just $39.99, and includes a  six-month warranty on parts and labor.

Walmart this week announced plans to open a pair of new large-scale centers dedicated to order fulfillment. The two facilities, in Fort Worth, Tex. and Bethlehem, Pa., will add more than 600 full-time positions between them.

RadioShack added two professionals to its senior management team Thursday, including a chief marketing officer and an executive to oversee store concepts who has already been working on a new prototype.

Jennifer Warren was named senior vice president and chief marketing officer, and Michael DeFazio was named senior vice president for store concepts.

Warren will lead RadioShack's marketing, including brand strategy, advertising, corporate communications, social media and online customer experience, the company said.

She joins the Fort Worth-based consumer electronics chain from marketing agency Razorfish in Austin.

RadioShack Thursday officially completed its long-planned CEO shift, with Jim Gooch replacing the retiring Julian Day as the company's top executive at RadioShack's annual shareholder meeting in Fort Worth, Tex.
