San Diego and Huntington Beach, Calif., 3D fans now can buy their own 3D glasses at vending machines. The 3D glasses are available at Cinemark Theatres and UltraStar Cinemas, with RealD 3D glasses supplied by Marchon 3D. The glasses can be purchased for $22 to $30, with a limited selection of styles up to $70. The glasses work with any passive 3D display, including HDTVs and laptops.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a 2011 Energy Star Sustained Excellence Award to BSH Home Appliances Corp. The award recognizes Bosch for its continued contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by manufacturing water- and energy-efficient appliances and educating consumers on the benefits of the Energy Star program.
