Samsung takes a large step next month into the U.S. appliance market that is predominately controlled by the "big five" appliance manufacturers. Already quite successfully competing in the microwave, vacuum cleaner and room air conditioner end of the U.S. home appliance market, Samsung goes big-box with a 25- and two 26.9-cubic-foot, water- and ice-dispensing, side-by-side refrigerators.
