Phil Callahan, an executive and PR professional who worked in the consumer electronics and ProAV sectors for nearly 25 years, died June 26 of an apparent heart attack at his home in California. He was 57 years old. Callahan worked for several years with Mitsubishi, and also worked for Sumiko, Hitachi, and Princeton Graphics Systems. More recently, in June of 2005, he founded a public relations and consulting firm called Callahan Public Relations and Consulting.
