TCL North America announced Thursday that it has purchased a North American manufacturing facility from Sanyo. The factory, based in Tijuana, can produce over 1.5 million TVs annually.

Finally, after months of waiting, we finally know the release date for the Xbox One. The console will go on sale in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK and the USA on November 22, 2013. More territories will be added in 2014. This effectively gives the PS4 a one week head start for the next console generation. It will sell for $499.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) gave its final ruling in a case involving imports of large residential washers from South Korea and Mexico. The DOC concluded that South Korea-based appliance manufacturers, including LG and Samsung, are dumping large residential washers into the U.S. market, violating U.S. and international trade laws.

The Dec. 19, 2012 ruling came in response to a petition filed by Whirlpool Corp. in December 2011.

Almo Corp. this week announced that it has added to its sales team in five different U.S. territories.
