The Consumer Electronics Association announced during CE Week that its next international Unveiled event will take place in Israel. The first-ever CES Unveiled Tel Aviv is scheduled for Oct. 7, following previous events in London and Paris. 

Shares in French appliances group Seb soared recently after US television personality Oprah Winfrey told her millions of Twitter followers its low-oil fryer had "changed my life".

Seb stocks were up 4.05 percent to 62.42 euros in midday trading on the Paris stock exchange, hitting a six-month high.

Winfrey had Tweeted about using the company's T-Fal Actifry, a low-oil fryer which went on the market in the United States in 2011.

French wireless devices specialist Parrot has now the financial leeway to make small-scale acquisitions and is looking for opportunities, its finance director told Reuters.
