In Pasadena, Calif., Toshiba introduced its new line of televisions, DVD players and other assorted electronics to dealers and press. Successful product lines were expanded, a few new technologies were introduced and quasi-political positions were more or less declared by the company's format endorsements. One major emphasis was the 10-year anniversary of the Cinema series televisions. The 2002 TV line includes 15 new Cinema series televisions, a line which VP of Marketing Scott Ramirez declared a successful sub-brand of Toshiba.
