M. Rothman and Co. will host a "day of technology" April 29 at the company's headquarters in Ramsey, N.J. The event will feature a presentation by Spectrum Electronics president Jeff Boccaccio, as well as an open house and new product showcase.

In the showroom, the distributor held what Vice President Douglas Rothman called a substitute for summer CES by showing some of the latest products from its suppliers. "The last time we had a show was over five years ago," said Chief Financial Officer Lawrence B. Francis. "But we plan on having an annual show going forward." Representatives from M. Rothman-carrying brands, which include Sharp, Pioneer, Toshiba, Philips, JVC, Konka and TDK, demonstrated the current technology.
