Bowers & Wilkins announced Tuesday that Greg Williams, the company's director of business development for new media, passed way over the weekend.

President O. Perry Clay of Sharp Electronics Corp. retired, effective December 31. He had been with Sharp for 17 years, having left Westinghouse Electric Corp. where he served for 23 years. He will continue to serve Sharp as an advisor to the chairman for an agreed period to assure a seamless transition. Sharp has not yet announced who will replace Clay. The company also named Bob Scaglione vice president of marketing of the company's consumer electronics group. Scaglione joined Sharp in 1989 as a sales manager for audio/visual products.
