Dealerscope 2018: 40 under 40
The honorees in this year's Dealerscope 40 Under 40, cited by their industry peers for distinguished job performance and visionary behavior, didn’t get onto this roster of excellence by accident.
Their mention here is recognition of a cumulation of several factors: their investment in years of hard work, their innate maturity exhibited in all the time leading up to this stage of their careers, and their determination to live by deep-seated principles that were oftentimes instilled by strong-willed and influential family members and industry mentors.
Quite a few of our honorees hail from the ranks of consumer technology retailing, and some also boast multi-year backgrounds in retailing that groomed them with the enriched skills and experience for moving into other industry disciplines in distribution and manufacturing.
Quite a few also see themselves as joyful teachers who, having been mentored by others, have become mentors in their own right.
But the most common thread throughout the profile comments has to do with our headline, which is meant as something of a different spin on the usual interpretation of taking one for “The Team.”
To these winners, who acknowledge that success in the consumer technology business is a group endeavor, and that they are truly “taking one for the team,” we offer congratulations, and our wish for continuing success.
