Beats Reveals Design Updates to Its Successful Earbud Line

Just today, Beats, the audio solution manufacturer founded by music icon Dr. Dre, released a slew of design and software updates to its highly successful line of wireless earbuds: The Beats Studio Buds. According to the company, the Beats Studio Pro, which launched this past January, has been the fastest-selling Beats product to date. The design additions consist of three new colors to choose from, including Sunset Pink, Moon Gray, and Ocean Blue. The earbuds have also expanded compatibility for Android users with the “Locate My Beats” feature and give users access to battery life information and listening modes. 

In other news, vehicle solutions manufacturer AAMD  this week announced its acquisition of AudioControl, which has a 45-year history of providing automotive, residential, and commercial audio solutions. AudioControl CEO Alex Camara is set to join AAMP leadership by heading the company’s audio growth strategy for the automotive and residential business sectors. On the partnership, AAMP  President of North America Herb Brown, said in a press release: “We believe embedding our vehicle integration platform with AudioControl’s world-class electronics, will be game-changing for the industry.”

Lastly, in news out of the New York Automotive Forum, Hyundai has announced that the electrified GV70 will be the company’s first electronic vehicle to be produced in the United States. Production of the vehicles is set to begin in December of 2022 at the company’s plant in Montgomery, Alabama, and is part of Hyundai’s plan to invest $7.4 billion in U.S. manufacturing for EVs and smart mobility technology.
