Situated neatly between the mammoth biennial international Photokina trade fair in Cologne in the fall and the industry's own Photo Marketing Association's annual spring trade show, it gives traditional-film camera makers little time and/or inclination to come up with the new products for January despite the fact the majority of them are seriously into digital products.
