DSI Systems said Wednesday that it is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The company, originally Diamond Systems Incorporated, launched on June 11, 1984.

DSI Systems announced Thursday that it has added Voco to its assortment of products. Voco is a provider of wireless, multi-room, music and video streaming.

The Fairmont Hotel in the heart of downtown Dallas once again hosted DSI Systems’ annual product tradeshow, which also included general sessions with training and industry updates, vendor breakout sessions, and an event-capping Expo reception and dinner at the Perot Nature and Science Museum. Here are some images from the two-day event.

Distributor DSI’s Doug Robison, who lately added CEO responsibilities to his duties as president, told Dealerscope at the company’s recent selling and training tradeshow near its Dallas-based headquarters that after nearly six months since the division of its satellite and CE businesses, the results of the change were in line with expectations.

DSI Systems announced earlier this month that it has reorganized into two separate business groups: one for consumer electronics and the other for DirecTV and Wild Blue.
