By Joe Paone TRENTON, N.J., 5/1/03 — Basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson visited Trenton, N.J.'s L. M. Rivera School on May 1, serving as coach and mentor for the day. The special event was the grand prize in a national "One-on-One With Magic" promotion co-sponsored by Best Buy and Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope charity for children. The promotion raised $140,000 for the Magic Johnson Foundation, which assists community-based organizations with HIV/AIDS prevention and education initiatives.
