But as television begins to resemble the mobile business, Microsoft is in the lead with the Xbox, according to a new report out Wednesday from Forrester Research. A small but growing number of consumers are willing to spend more money on environmentally-friendly products, while slightly less than half of consumers care about the environment, but not enough to pay more money for greener products. That’s according to a new survey released this week by Forrester Research, as cited by Ars Technica. The survey of 5,000 adults found that 12 percent would be willing to pay a premium for greener products, 41 percent care but not enough to spend more on green products, while the remaining respondents claim to place no value on greener products at all.
